Siemens CL75 Update Tool Manual

Before running the Update tool as descriped below, a new USB cable driver might have to be installed. Please run the program "USB_Driver_installation_program.exe" first for this.

Step 1: Ensure the battery of your mobile is charged, and power off your mobile.

Step 2: Launch the update tool.

Step 3: Connect the CL75 with a Siemens standard USB cable to a USB port in your PC, and wait until the text “USB port available” appears.

Step 4: Press the “Start” button in 5 seconds to start the sw update.

Step 5: Do not disconnect the handset until download is completed. The tool will display the text "Update success! "

If the download fails, please power off the tool, remove and reattatch the battery on the phone, and restart from step 1.

Warning!

If the software version in your handset is much older than the new one, it can be neccesary to format the filesystem which will result in loss of all non-standard user data and Contacts stored in the phone. The tool will give a warning and ask for confirmation before continuing with this action. If 'continue' is confirmed, the data stored in the filesystem cannot be recovered afterwards.
